The best way to confirm signature of a given transaction knowledge?

I must test if a transaction is legitimate, and that features verifying its signature. However this is the catch: I am unable to depend on pre-made Bitcoin instruments. As a substitute, I will have to write down my very own code utilizing Python libraries.
